I’m Julie Lachaud, a Couples and Family Counselor trained in sexology. I offer individual or couples support around relationships, emotional life, and sexuality. Personal difficulties, tensions within the couple, questions about sexuality, or a desire for change: it is not always easy to know where to start or how to move forward. There are many reasons for seeking a consultation, and they are unique to each person. My approach is above all based on listening, simplicity, and authenticity. I aim to provide a space where you can set down what is troubling you, put words to what you are feeling, and reflect on your own journey without fear of being judged. The aim is to take the time to understand what is happening for you and to look together for approaches that suit you. I also believe that serious subjects can be addressed without always taking ourselves too seriously. Humor has its place when it allows us to breathe, put things into perspective, or look at a situation from another angle. It never replaces listening, but it can sometimes open a door where everything seemed blocked. There is no universal recipe or magic potion that works in the same way for everyone. Drawing on your own resources and moving at your own pace, I offer you a space for connection, reflection, and exploration of your doubts and contradictions. Because you do not always need to be unwell to ask for help, and because there is no shame in seeking to better understand yourself, improve your relationships, or live your emotional and sexual life more peacefully. The goal is not to become someone else, but to be able to move toward something that feels more like you.
