Presentation

Océane Lahanque Professional title: Gestalt-oriented therapist; Address: Online / videoconferencing; Languages: French, English; Therapies offered: Adults, young adults& nbsp; Who am I? I am a therapist, trained at the Belgian Institute of Gestalt Therapy in Brussels. I devoted the first part of my professional life, within international institutions, to supporting organizations in countries experiencing crises. This gave me the opportunity to encounter people in situations that were often conflict-ridden. My decision to train in therapy extended this commitment, while also transforming it: moving from supporting organizations to supporting women and men in distress. I support adults and young adults who are going through periods of existential questioning or a desire for change: a loss of meaning, exhaustion or a depressive state, a feeling of being out of step or of having difficulty finding one’s place, relationships that cause suffering or feel confining, difficulties setting boundaries, painful grief, or heightened sensitivity. Sometimes, life seems too complicated, too intense, or not enough... Therapy can create a space to emerge from the shadows, break through blockages and repetitive patterns, and gradually regain greater freedom. My approach: Gestalt therapy This rigorous psychotherapeutic approach is concerned with the way each human being comes into contact with their environment. Particular attention is paid to what takes place in the “here and now” of each session, at every level: mental, bodily, sensory and emotional. It focuses on the uniqueness of each person and the way they construct their way of being in the world. I am particularly committed to the idea that there is no single right way of being in the world: over the course of the sessions, I support each person in discovering their own. I warmly welcome questions relating to gender and sexual orientation. My clients : I work with adults and young adults. Professional ethics: My practice is supported by regular supervision and continuing professional development. As a Member of the European College of Gestalt Therapy, I am committed to respecting professional ethics, including strict confidentiality. & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp;
